In response to current market demand for short stay rentals, a new 1700 sq. ft.  three bedroom modern home fills the last empty narrow lot on a crowded street close to downtown.

Constrained by zoning setbacks, the simple structure is shifted westward to maximize yard space and daylighting. The house is intended to act both as a stand along home as well as a dependency to the adjacent corner lot home.

Energy efficiency, durable materials, and a compact, straight forward floor plan are part of a deliberate low maintenance strategy  in the short stay market.
